The restaurant is situated up a back street 100m or so out of the town centre and can be quite difficult to find without getting the old smart phone out. On the food front we’d eaten here twice during our last visit 4 5 years ago and enjoyed 2 excellent meals. The menu is very small and consists of a choice from 3 starters, mains and deserts. For starters we had the scallops and fois gras dishes which were both excellent and all had the fish of the day for mains which was very good. This time I’ve giving it a 4* for a couple of reasons: Service was very slow, and a bit bizarre. La Trencadis was a recommendation from a local, small menu but everything was superb! The owner and her employees were friendly and welcoming to us english speakers, we were so impressed we went back a second time for our final night in Argeles. Couldn't recommend more!

Nice small restaurant with friendly owner and staff. The menu is unique and changes on a regular basis. Very nice food.
