Although the place was fully booked on a Saturday evening, they managed to squeeze me in for a quick diner. I was alone so this perfectly suited me. As we were short on time, obviosuly there was no room for a 4 dish meal but the pasta they served was a good suggestion. Quick and good, I needed nothing more. Limoncello to top it off. Thanks to the friendly staff. Upon leaving, as I was having my camera with me, this was the main reason I was in Lille in the first place, I asked for, and got, a smile from the 2 waitresses. If they want that picture, they can always write me. ;
Malgré une superficie réduite pour le nombre de couverts, l'accueil y est charmant, la cuisine délicieuse et le service irréprochable. Belle organisation. variété des plats prix tout à fait correct. Nous y sommes déjà venus déjeuner. Nous y avons passé un bon moment ce soir de samedi de Saint-Valentin et nous reviendrons. A bientôt en Sicile à Lille

ideal location for nearby B&B (Lille aux Oiseaux) if too tired to venture far and very grateful for the recommendation from our hosts. The food and atmosphere was marvellous after managed to squeeze in though perhaps more suitable for a fun than a romantic meal.
