My mother, son, and I arrived at this restaurant feeling quite hungry after a doctor's appointment ran late. We ordered calamari, vegetable rice soup, chicken lettuce wraps, and pad Thai. The food was fresh and served hot, arriving promptly after it was prepared. The flavors were incredible, allowing us to taste the freshness of the vegetables along with all of the individual seasonings. Our waitress was lovely and very courteous. The prices were reasonable for the generous portions, and we even took some leftovers home for lunch the next day. We initially chose this place for convenience but will definitely return for the quality of the food!
This is hands down the best bun bowl in the Bay Area! I've been eating here for years, and the food and service have only improved with each visit. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the service is both quick and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when, after overhearing my friend wish me a happy birthday, the staff came together to celebrate with me. At the end of our meal, the lights went out, music started playing, and they brought out a delicious slice of red velvet cake with a candle on it! The owner is often on-site, and the staff even remembers my favorite order. I could eat here every day!
I was not sure what to expect. Wow. Such great food. I ordered fried rice and was glad I had. The best ever. I shared with my dinner companions and they all agreed. I had the spicy beef sandwich and again great. The waiter was attentive. We will definitely go again and again.
My friends and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. Our waiter, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. I highly recommend visiting La V!

Absolutely love La V. Foods delicious and always fresh. Service at times can be slow depending on your server but there’s also a couple that are fantastic so it’s hit or miss. Either way it so good we don’t care and make this place a regular once a week stop!
Was craving vietnamese and a friend referred me to La V! I asked for a few menu item modifications, and the server was super polite and accommodating to my needs. The food came out fast and delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Will be back! Thanks!
If you are in the Tampa Bay/Downtown St. Pete Area you have to try this place!!! Awesome food! Excellent Service!! Best restaurant I've tried in town so far! And their prices are very good!
