We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and we are so glad we did! The owner was lovely and made us feel right at home, nothing was too much to ask for! We had the La Veranda tower and pate to start, the tower was gorgeous! For mains, we had the pork belly and the lamb shank and they were cooked to perfection! For dessert we shared a tiramisu which was also very nice. I have not rated a restaurant on this before but I was genuinely very impressed with the food and the service and will definitely be returning soon! Thank you!
On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Bruno the new owner and guided to our table. Very spacious and beautifully decorated throughout, all very brand new. For starters we shared a garlic pizza half cheese half tomato. For the main I had the pork belly and my friend the salmon verand. All food served was delicious and very well cooked. All staff were very attentive and efficient. Bruno was an excellent host and I wish him every success in his new venture. Well done Bruno, see you again very soon......
Found this new gem via tastecard, so glad I did! The owner is lovely, so attentive and friendly. Made us feel welcome and cracking jokes. The menu has a really good choice of food, with something to suit everyones tastes. I had the fish which was beautifully cooked and my friends had the pasta which looked equally as good. They were very accomadating to any requests we had and the wine list was very good too. Can't wait to return!! Definitely hope this place becomes as sucessful as it deserves to be!
Newly opened so decided to try. Greeted at door by owner, seated, made to feel special and important throughout whole time there. Manager Bruno very attentive, quick service but without being rushed. Bar man Dougie very polite and friendly, also very helpful and would help with any questions if owner dealing with other customer. Food was excellent and good portion size. Free Wi-Fi while we were there also. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

Visited la veranda tonight using a tastecard and couldn't be happier with the service and food. The owner was lovely and couldn't do enough for us and the dishes were big portions and very reasonably priced. Would really recommend this restaurant, amazed that it was so quiet.
The staff at this restaurant were superb, as was the food. I would highly recommend it. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. And I especially enjoy the Peroni beer they serve.
The setting is charming, the owner is friendly, and they serve the best garlic bread in town. I stumbled upon this place while driving by one day, and I highly recommend giving it a try.
Opposite the Ramada Plaza, Southport Theatre and Convention Centre you will find Fifty One The Promenade, a fairly up market seafood and fish restaurant.
