We had a good time at the absolute restaurant. We were served quickly and all at the same time. We chose the menu at 17,50€. I took the foie gras with a duck's jam and a dauphinois gratin, and finished a gourmet coffee. I've had a treat. As we were in Saint-Emilion, we certainly took wine. Like we didn't want the same, we took the wine in the glass. The waitress advised us well. But I think it's more interesting to take a bottle when we're many. It is with great pleasure that I would return to this restaurant because it was good and correct in price. We had the chance to have the restaurant for us

Saint Emilion has several obvious places to eat, but this restaurant takes a little finding, and because it is situated on a small square, there is plenty of hustle and bustle to watch as you eat. If the weather is warm enough, take a table...on the terrace. The table d'hote was simple, but really deliciously cooked. The pate de fois gras was of a very high standard, and the beef bourgignone was a good sized portion. I made the mistake of asking for a glass of house red wine, but in a french vineyard town, there were seven house wines on the menu.
If the service is a little cold first, you eat well, and you can eat little, and light, which is rare in a city that has become chef gastronomic place. the plates are very good, and the choice of wines is very pleasant. Moreover, the place is enchanting even for holy emilion, or everything is beautiful and to the rope. Be careful: access by a very sloping and slippery street can be risky. but the quality must be earned! To advise absolutely, at least!
My impression that it was a quick place to get a snack and a drink. It is not particularly outstanding, but it is carved into a cave below the town and opens up to a nice plaza as shown in my exit photo. That makes...it alone worth a visit. The staff were all very pleasant and we got our orders quickly. St. Emilion can be crowded and hot, so this was a pleasant place that I would visit again. Book a table now
This is a great spot to people watch in Saint Emilion, situated on the steep cobbled road just down from the tourist information you can watch people sliding down the hill. We just had a couple of nice beers so cannot vouch for the food...but we would return All my reviews are based on genuine first hand experience, if this has been helpful to you please give me a helpful vote, thank you
service zero the waitress has badly spoken to me, menu has 17th dish entry dessert, salad without sauce, peeled fish (frozen panfish) with tiny gratin, chocolate dessert out of the package, very bad and cold! amount equal to a child menu! We're very disappointed, paid for this is shameful. Not to mention the clumsy boss who doesn't say hello. a proscrire!
We stopped at this place for lunch we sat on the verandah and enjoyed the sunshine so the slightly slow service didn't worry us. The chèvre cheese salad was lovely. A pleasant place for lunch away from the hustle and bustle of the main...square.
random choice. menu at 17€50. ratio quality correct price. nice setting: shaded room dug in the rock. nice staff. Book a table now
relatively expensive for an average meal quality for quite classic dishes that it is easy to succeed.
disastrous price ratio; avoid tartar and wines whose prices reach unjustified peaks.
