Love the ambience and tasty brunch and tea menu. Unfortunately by the time our dishes arrived, the food (eggs) were cold. Very sweet and elegant place, but — the service is quite slow and inattentive. We were virtually ignored and had to go search for staff in the back to get the ball rolling. They are polite and seem fine, but don 't have any 'hustle ' in their steps, that 's for sure! Maybe some gentle customer service training would help? We 'll be back because the overall experience still outweighs the pain of slow and forgetful service.
The servers need to be trained to explain the afternoon tea to patrons. They seem to expect that everyone knows how it works. Even when we asked multiple times, no one seemed inclined to listen to what we were asking. Really didn't expect that from Laduree. Also, expected the savory food to be fresher and more flavourful. There are better afternoon tea experiences in Toronto.
I had a generally good experience at this restaurant. The food was alright, although many of the savory dishes featured cream cheese as the main ingredient. The macarons and cakes were delicious. The service was acceptable, although there wasn't a high level of attention to detail. The atmosphere was very relaxed and casual.
The service at this restaurant was non-existent. When the server finally came to our table, I was not happy to be addressed as "love" by a young person. There were times when no servers were even visible in the restaurant. I will not be returning.

Portion size for the tea was very small. I believe we were missing some sandwiches. It’s misleading to what you see on the website it’s a beautiful place but the value wasn’t there. I felt we all left hungry.
There needed to be more of a balance of savoury and sweet. A bit too sweet for me but I will say everything that was on the high tea was very good.
A beautiful spot in the mall for a quiet moment to enjoy some sweets or a bite to eat. Or catching up with a friend over their Afternoon tea set.
Wonderful cozy French cafe. Cakes are Devine and service is top notch. Very accommodating for our group of 5 having afternoon tea.
