I met friends here for lunch. There is parking immediately outside so very convenient. It is a delightful tea room in the beautiful Victorian Great Malvern Station. The station itself is worth visiting. It is built from Malvern Rag stone in a French Gothic style....Canopy columns have decorated mouldings of flowers and foliage, it’s very striking. The cafe itself is decorated in Victorian style and serves a good range of dishes, snacks and delicious cakes. The service is friendly and helpful and all in all a lovely cafe to visit, especially if you don’t want the same old ‘ chain ‘ experience.

I highly recommend this charming tea room to those who prefer a leisurely dining experience. Located on one of the station platforms in Great Malvern, this small establishment offers a nostalgic atmosphere that transports guests back in time. It's a refreshing change from the ubiquitous chain coffee shops found in many cities. On warmer days, patrons can enjoy sitting outside on the platform, watching the world go by. Forget pricey stress management courses and give this place a try. It's a perfect spot for anyone seeking a more relaxed dining experience.
Stopped for coffee and cakes in the afternoon. The tea room and indeed whole railway station have lots of character and it was warm enough to eat out on the platform. Cakes were excellent including the gluten free lemon cake, though I personally would have...preferred it without the coconut topping. The lady running the place treated the gluten free status very seriously and checked whether I was happy it had been made in a kitchen with flour, but in a separately washed out tin. Lovely to see a traditional tearoom like this still in business.
This was during the late March weekend go the coronavirus pandemic just before everywhere was closing for public health reasons. We had received a message that people didn't know Lady Foley's Tea Room was open so we went along to collect a takeaway meal for lunch...which we ate later on in a quiet car park on the hills. Sandwiches are made while you wait and we chose cheese and pickle. Also had victoria sponge, coffee cake and cold drinks. Book a table now
We popped in for a swift drink, headshot chocolate, was really nice The cafe is fabulous, full of railway memorabilia. They make all their cakes and quiches on the premises, they also have gluten free options. They had a freshly baked gluten free chocolate cake,...but sadly it was too hot for the lady to ice, so I missed out. It smelt amazing.. Such nice people too, offered to let us have eggs as the corvid crisis had left us eggless.
this beautiful tea room was created by lady foley's old waiting room and has stained glass windows. the owner is very friendly and we had a great tee sitting there on the platform. it may not sound so much, but you always don't have big teapots with correct porcelain and that was it. it was a tasty bite.
The restaurant offers a warm welcome, delicious sandwiches, and delectable cakes in a peaceful Victorian setting. The only downside is that it can be easy to miss if you're not arriving by train, as there is no sign outside directing customers to the entrance.
This was a lovely experience. We just needed to get out from the confines of our home and garden. Very friendly service, gorgeous cake and interesting surroundings. Outside, but undercover. I had the gluten free cake, and it was delicious. Book a table now
Arrive 20 minutes early for your train and experience your own romantic "Brief Encounter" moment in a stunning setting. A delightful surprise awaits you.
