Meal after meal, whether for lunch or dinner, L'Aillet is truly my favorite restaurant in the area: incredibly elegant bistro cuisine made with fresh produce and lots of passion, a menu that changes all the time and also seasonal bonuses like this truffle sweetbread vol au vent in the photo! To top it all off, they have a very nice and extensive wine list with a selection like you won't find anywhere else. Attentive service, it feels like home, I love it, thank you! Que dire, on a sélectionné l'Aillet pour être référencé Michelin et aux autres avis positifs. On est un peu sur la réserve. C'est un bistrot. Donc on est dérouté par tant d'éloges surtout si on devait comparer avec d'autres établissements classés dans la même catégorie (bistrot Michelin). On y a bien mangé, c'est fait maison, on un visuel sur les cuisines ouvertures, le service est sympathique, mais il manque de gourmandise, tant en quantité qu'en choix des plats proposés à la carte.
I Longly hesitated between 3 and 4 but the overall experience was average for us. Only a menu for diner. With a good starter (veal tartare , an average dish (a tuna, a fish that could be sublimed in many ways, but that was not the case here… and the dessert which was ok. The terrace could be nice but it is on a small square we’re people play pétanque and are quite noisy and you have to share their music and not so interesting conversations… wine were good, cocktails were average.
A very nice discovery. Intimate atmosphere and neat decor. We had a view into the kitchen to see the chef preparing the dishes. We had the 4-course discovery menu in the evening. It's Surprising, delicious, beautiful and well dosed in quantity. I recommend for a romantic moment, or a meal with friends in a small group.
