I ordered the catfish and shrimp, and sadly, both lacked flavor, which is surprising given that we're just a few miles from Louisiana, known for its delicious cuisine. The tartar sauce seemed like nothing more than a cheap mayo substitute, and the shrimp sauce was a thin, watery red liquid devoid of any taste. This place is a gem for lunch! The food is absolutely excellent, with the Fried Fish Dinner and Fried Catfish standing out as must-tries. We didn't realize they closed at 8 PM that evening and arrived around 7:20. My husband ordered the combo plate with fish and shrimp, while I chose the shrimp po'boy with fries. The shrimp were large and perfectly fried, and the fish was equally impressive. We had more food than we could finish. My only complaint is that I wish the bun had been toasted before adding the mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes, as it ended up becoming soggy and fell apart. However, it had six large and delicious shrimp, so the soggy bun didn't deter me. Overall, the meal was very good, and we will likely stop by again when we're in the area.
