I have stayed in Gennevilliers several times over the last few years, and generally have accepted the so-so restaurants in this area as the norm. This time someone suggested this place and I am glad they did as it was great. Very quiet mid-week, we walked into a quiet and mostly closed street to find this suddenly warm and intimate place. A warm welcome, good service (albeit not too many tables to care for! . The menu is only in French as it is written on a blackboard due to the food being locally sourced and fresh daily. Accordingly the food is great in all courses, and the wine has a small but very good selection. Of our group nobody had a bite that was not great (a mix of locals and forei...

As I was on business-trip in Paris and alone I booked a table trough The fork . I was warmly and enthousiastic welcomed by the waiter who guided me to my table. I ordered a starter (salade of gamba and a main course (beef tartare with gratin-potatos with a coffee afterwards. The meal was accompliched by a half liter of white Sancerre-wine and a bottle of water. I 'll give Positive points for the gamba salad who tasted very well, the service by the waiter, the price (all together for € 72,00 , and the restaurant itselve. 2 minor remarks for the temperature of the hacked steak (pretty warm and gave impression to be prepared in advance ??? and the behaviour of the young female waitress who was...

The restaurant is based in the centre of Genneviliers, very close to the business park (about 5 minutes walk). The restaurant is not very large, and there is no real space to wait. Reservation is advised. I had the formule midi, with a nice starter of beef and lentils. A bit sour, very nice. Followed by some chicken and potatoes ending with a coffee and a small fried bread. All quite well balanced. They use bio products, serve lots of wines by the glass. I think it is very much preferable over the local hotel restaurants, and can definitely recommend it. Service is friendly.

Four people enjoyed dinner here. The food and service were excellent. We ordered from the formule menu, two of us included the dessert. It was not necessary to specify which person wanted only entree and main course, and which ones wanted the dessert as well. It is a small and very personal place. They had no trouble figuring that out. The formule (daily) menu offered four main course options to meet a variety of personal preferences. like many traditional French restaurants, strictly vegetarian options might be a little tricky but not impossible.
