It takes 2 mini cuts, but it is very friendly, very tasty, the excellent cheese is at will, accompanied by charcuterie, potato, and excellent salad. everything is carefully prepared, very well presented, rather refined for a regional dish. If you are left of the place we have shared a chocolate dessert, a real tuerie, the dream dessert of any chocolate lover. Sunday 13 August we laughed a gourmet menu that was very good. very beautiful decorated mountain setting with taste. The good but in insufficient quantity, the jacco nuts served in the main dish with a risotto and herbs were remarkable. A flat: dessert, a blueberry pie (it's the season in the mountains) was served with a hard, dry paste, without flavor; What a pity!!!I pass under silence an English family who also dined, the children shouted, spoke loudly the whole meal under the benevolent eyes of the parents: no limits!!!Thank you to Laurine, who has well oriented us on wine, her husband to the furnaces and their young girl who tempered the devastating ardour of the young English.
We come to Flaine for more than years and l’Ancolie is at least once on our programme during those weeks. Best pierrade viandes with as much salad fries as you can eat! But also many other dishes with meat, fish or...vegetarian. The owner is a super friendly. The interior is very cosy nicely decorated. They also do take-away pizzas. In lockdown period (Dec we ordered fondue savoyarde and pierrade and they braught everything (incl the appliances) to our appartment in Flaine Forêt! Great service!
They provide a taxi service to and from them which makes sense as they are off the beaten track, though they were minutes late for the pickup Attractive Alpine dining room and lots of choice on the menu. Everything took quite a long time...As to the food, the steak were good but the accompanying potatoes not really hot enough the meat just about ok, the plates cold which all suggested understaffing.The bouillabaisse was excellent and an unexpected dish up the mountain.

with my wife we went there the last night of our holidays and we did not regret. We were greeted with mussels in mouth amuse, and it was nice to take the aeroplane on the couch. The meal was copied with interesting and greedy flavours research! The couple who's holding the restaurant is at the top. Don't spend your holidays without going through the ancholy! and their perruche is beautiful!
Nice place a little isolated in Flaine. The welcome was warm, the excellent reblochonnade with its crispy on top, the very gourmet white cheese and an extra quality! I recommend!The only disappointment was wine with glass.
one meal a day, and one can even choose one day the welcome is really very warm and the dishes very good and at will after a day of hiking. The reblochonnade on the burn is very original
Excellent restaurant- very comfortable with a local atmosphere. Food is very good with local cuisine as well. Will be going back for dinner before we leave Flaine to go home!

Always very friendly with a good atmosphere and tasty traditional alpine food. Been here many times in summer and winter and standard always high.
