I know it was Christmas.. But going to eat there on Christmas Eve was unfortunately a disaster. Badly organized and completely overcrowded and therefore too tight. We had the drinks after 50 minutes and the food after an hour. We had to let one of our food go back because it was completely dry and hard, like the microwave. A real pearl in the spanning gastronomy. A very rustic but not old-fashioned restaurant. Beautiful ambience in a building that still dates from spanning garrison times. Lovely furnished, attentive and very friendly staff. Eisbein and Haxe are highly recommended, sensible portions and the crust (Haxe) grilled to the point. We stayed for the first time in the restaurant and like to come back, service ran great, the food tasted us and the prices are human. The location itself I find very good, cozy, just right. We look forward to the next time.
