I ended up at this restaurant after the Cornish Pantry was not serving breakfast and the café was closed! What is wrong with these places? Well, there is nothing wrong here. Even though I was not a guest, after a 5-hour drive they let me eat here and have their buffet breakfast. I don't even remember what it cost, but it was worth every penny. The breakfast had good quality ingredients and everything was cooked well. The scrambled eggs were particularly delicious - not like the block of yellow goo you get at so many other places. My compliments to the chef for doing it right. I also want to mention the lovely young lady who allowed me to eat here and, to top it off, after my long journey she...

Came here for a quick lunch after walking around for a bit. The food isn't too crazy, but the portion size of the chicken wings were astonishing for what's considered a smaller plate. The cheesy garlic bread was delicious and the hot chocolate with coconut rum was quite warm. The restaurant is fairly accessible and the atmosphere when we were there (around 2pm) was quiet, and not too busy, extremely nice to eat and look out the window at the cliffs edge.

Cannot fault the staff they were very friendly and down to earth which is a must! Only downside was the bar menu The mains consisted of 4 burgers that's all with extortionate prices £17.50+ for a halloumi burger and a tiny bit of chips.. Same goes for the restaurant menu's, there's absolutely NO CHOICE so boring don't waste your money. The cream tea was the highlight of the afternoon.

£7 for parking to start. £20 fish and chips. A ploughman's lunch that a hard-working ploughman would reject. Seemingly, there were to be some fireworks some 8 hours after we had finished. Therefore, we were given this food in disposable cutlery and plates. Over £100 spent on this rubbish is not value for money. AVOID. Book a table now

Looked like a motorway services canteen. Staff seemed to be doing the bare minimum and obviously didn't want to be there. We had coffees from a machine not good and over priced. All tables with a view were dirty too.

Initially, I was hesitant because it was the only restaurant open on December 30th and I thought it might be overpriced and geared towards tourists. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food - it was fabulous!

Staff were very friendly, professional and quick with their service in what was quite a busy period when I visited. The beer was good as was the Scampi in a Basket…A real nostalgia moment!
