one of the best moments of my dining experience, is the bread that comes at the beginning which i get to eat with butter, aioli or whatever they get us. unfortunately in Lanzelot they dont serve bread (you have to pay for it) service is not very fast we had to wait around 15 min to get our meals we were a big group, but they could have at least served us our drinks or bread... besides the slow service, the food was really good. huge portions the 'auflauf ' are huge, so if ur not VERY hungry you might want to ask for the smaller portion which is 2EUR cheaper. i had the lamb filet, that was really good too oh and they dont have desserts on their menu... weird
Wonderful place! The service here is very friendly and it definitely has a home like atmosphere. All the food we tried we enjoyed. Especially the onion soup. It wasn't exactly what we expected from the description but it was so good I ordered it on our second visit. Also, the housemade bread is a definite must, luckily it comes with the soup. Good food, great atmosphere, but the staff make it my new favorite place in Lüneburg. Can't wait to visit it again!
we are going on with the friendly service, which welcomes a warm welcome. then the ambiente, cozy but not old. everything clean. and eating is all freshly prepared. Nevertheless, the waiting time is absolutely ok, even if the load is full. we always like to come and look forward to every new visit when we are in lüneburg. ah yes, in summer with nice little in-house, very nice to sit and eat outside
Discovered a new beverage I really like here. Had a refreshing local cider and a Lillet spritz (the red berry) which was out of this world ! I am back home in the states and one of the first things I did was get a bottle of Lillet. The server here was very nice and helped us in English. There is a great little outside space to sit, drink, and relax. It was a great experience.
