Food is awful. Basic stuff like egg rolls, chicken satay, and crab Rangoon were bland, lacked vegetables, fried terribly. The entrees had almost no veg except moo shu pork which was almost exclusively veggies and no pork! The wrapper was dry and they were already wrapped which made them dried out. It is also really hard to know what to order with almost no menu descriptions and a zillions items. And it was more expensive than MUCH better Asian restaurants in the area. I would not go here again. Just terrible! The server was blunt and not welcoming, either. It was a very disappointing evening that our family had really been looking forward to. ?
I ordered takeout from Lao See Chuan, which is usually my favorite restaurant. However, this particular location seems to have a different approach. I always enjoy the spicy cabbage and Tony's three chili chicken, and I've never had issues with my orders before. Unfortunately, today my spicy cabbage had random leaves and spices just floating around instead of being mixed properly, and the Tony's three chili chicken appeared undercooked and lacked any flavor at all—it tasted more like bland fried chicken with peppers, rather than the delicious dish I expected. I'll consider ordering again, but not from this location.
I pointed out that the door sign indicated the closing time was 10:30 PM on Saturdays, so we should have had plenty of time to enjoy our meals. We had no intention of lingering since we had a long drive ahead. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving without dining due to the unappreciative, unprofessional attitude of the staff.
Of all the Lao Sze Chuan locations, this one is the worst. I recommend trying another restaurant; even fast food would be a better option than putting up with the poor attitudes from the waitstaff.
I was told, "If you like spicy, try LaoSzeChuan. "And I did. The atmosphere when you walk in was authentic. The waitor brought us spicy cabbage and ice water instantly. After a few, the waitress came to take our order. I had the chicken with spicy garlic sauce, and my husband had general taos chicken (lunch specials). The food was very well seasoned and cooked fresh. The vegetables were fresh and very delicious. We really enjoyed our lunch date, at our new favorite chinese spot!

Food is mediocre. I get the language barrier but the staff seemed miserable and couldn't explain anything. They brought a plate out for my partner who vegetarian and the vegetables weren't even cooked. I took my meal which is a 2 at best to go. We sat in an empty restaurant for over 10 mins and we had to ask for water. Never again.
I must say, fast delivery! My food was fresh and very delicious. Five stars! Vegetarian options: Large selection and variety of different types of food.
My favorite local Chinese place. I love the dry chili chicken (which is also excellent as dry chili tofu if you want to go plant based).
