Service staff were rude and inattentive. We waited 20 minutes to order (they forgot about a neighbouring table as well). I saw a sour faced waitress pick food from the peanut dish before it was taken to someone’s table. They forgot part of our order and never brought spoonsfor our dessert (I had to go up to the bar to ask). The food was distinctly average and lacked flavour. I tried to order a side salad but was told that there was a salad with my food which never came. Really, really disappointing
The restaurant was recommended to us by the guy who has the small shop below our apartment. He gets 100 legend points as the recommendation was brilliant. The food at Restaurant l'Ardoise was brilliant (seafood tapas for starters, monkfish for the wife, steak tartare for me and a tartin for dessert) along with the Cotes du Rhone that washed it down. Friendly staff who spoke English because my school boy French was pitiful Didn't get violated with the price either.... Highly recommend this place
I have lunch in this restaurant several times, it's always very welcoming, the service is really top and the meals too, the quality ratio price as very good, restaurant has advice, and in addition beautiful view of the port and the sea
Be careful, you get the peanuts other persons left, in the same bowl as them. Same with water carafes. We sat beside the bar and saw everything. I don’t want to know what they do in the kitchen. It‘s more than disgusting.
