Boy do I miss this place. Moved out of Whittier a year or so ago and have been craving their food for weeks now. My go to is the Submarine sandwich, Turkey ABC or pasta and have been in search of a good replacement ever since. While I have found decent pasta, I can?t seem to find a great sandwich with fresh baked bread and the cold cut blend of Lascari?s. Anyway, in town for an annual check up and had to see if they were open. My appt was early, so I called around 9:15 am and someone did pick up the phone. I was in many Italian restaurants and I have to say Lascari is very good. Your baked Ziti is great. My favorite food from them is Turkey ABC. Its hidden location and limited parking are the delicious Italian cuisine and service awaiting you inside. We've been eating in Lascari's since we discovered them in Brea years ago. But I never had a bad meal there, and most of what they deserve at least a 4 out of 5 stars. They also have a wide selection of Gelato and their Tiramisu is as good as anyone I've ever had.
The best STEAK SANDWICH!!! Come on to the French role with the sauteed mushrooms and light on the onions and it is to die! I'm just going to the sandwich! The environment is cozy to eat in many things in the deli section that you want to buy and take home they have gelato and everyone is as friendly it is really like a mother and pop place! Don't you want to miss this???
Used to have their capicola, which is amazing when their horned beef they have small size or large size no difference to me except the price they said that the big has more meat was not worth it, the small was the same size and maybe a micro Less meat than the big it does not come with cheese sauerkraut or Thousand Island, you need to ask for it

First time at this place. Very nice spot and clean, I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, mushrooms and green peas. Didn't taste good at all and the sauce was watery and bland. I will give this place 1 more try and order something else. I will have much less expectation. Plus a younger girl had attitude when serving us for some reason.
Looks like we found a little gem as we traveled through Whittier! Yummy sandwiches in a comfortable environment. The menu was extensive pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches! We had some super yummy homemade ice cream for dessert too! Wish we were closer to this place to come back and try more things!
Fantastic sandwich I enjoyed the triple decker and I must say it was just so good, I haven't enjoyed eating out much but somehow this met my expectations from the 80s when I worked at Whittier florist.

Every time I eat here I get the Caprese sandwich (Chef's Special) and I tell myself it's so good I have to share the other half of my sandwich with my wife.
They have great sandwiches and their pizzas are pretty good. I haven't tried her pastas yet, but I'll try her next time I go. This place is very good.
