The restaurant has a beautiful setting,lovely outdoor area with views all around. The food lived up to all of our expectations and our entire group absolutely enjoyed every course. We had one vegetarian in the group and that was accommodated in the menu. We all had the dinner menu and came away feeling very satisfied and full. Good value for money for what we received relative to many of the other St Emillion restaurant. Staff were very attentive and all spoke good English.
We advise the restaurant we run late on our table to target 2pm, and they reacted to say thanks for letting them know and waiting for us. We arrived at 2.08pm and the kitchen had closed at 2pm on the point! The only thing they could serve was cold meat and cheese, and she recommended the double we needed for the 4 of us. Not ideal as we were really happy on the main menu; but also I guess in France they are very strict with lunchtime!
It was a great experience all in all. from the time we arrived, we were welcomed by the team, and let us walk around the area. The food was excellent and will definitely come back again. Also, the next door connected to L'atelier de Candale wine tasting was a really nice touch and the team was very accommodating. We had the best time and it couldn't be better!!!
The restaurant and its setting are just beautiful. And the staff could not have been nicer. The food was quite good (the salmon that my friend had was a bit raw but our meals were perfect) and the wine was plentiful! Book a table now
This restaurant has a great view, food is great and waiter is professional and patient. We enjoy our lunch. We are grateful waiters spend time explaining the menu how we only understand English.
It was our first visit to L'Atelier de Candale despite living nearby and the only regret was not visiting sooner. The location, views, food and service were all 5 star highly recommend.
Excellent location in the middle of vineyards. Ambience super, and food and wine delicious. Visited for a special occasion and was not disappointed by the reception we received.
