L'aura - Table reservation

What a nice find in a charming village. Alsace is known for great food, of course, but this little spot helps you understand why. You don't have to pay a lot to get a meal packed with wonderful flavors and they provide very good guidance on the wines to enjoy with your meal. The menu focuses on local, seasonal produce and they have a very good selection of Alsatian wines available, but also some international labels. We arrived without a reservation and they handled us courteously and with a smile. (While you are in town, take a few minutes to visit the basilica just around the corner and be sure to visit the crypt!

I do not usually like dogs in restaurants: here I loved two dogs, silent, friendly and intelligent creatures. The stuff is suberb, friendly. The food is amazing: try poultry and their café gourmand. I hate to read from reviews that ”cherry tomatos were the best I have tasted” but can’t help saying that: they were almost supernaturally delicious. Thank you so much, L’Aura. My warmest recommenation is yours.

What a lovely surprise to find such a chic restaurant in a charming Alsacian village. The food was delicious and very tastely presented. We particularly appreciated the advice on the appropriate wines with each service and at a reasonable price. The service was particulary warm and adapted to our needs. I and my friends had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this pleasant restaurant.

A éviter. Accueil nul, après une certaine attente sans carte, sans boisson alors qu'il n'y avait pas énormément de monde et que le garçon est passé devant nous avec les cartes sous le bras, nous sommes repartis.

Great restaurant with good and kind personnel. Good selection of wines fair price for the dinner. We would visit again!
