Thanks to Tripadvisor I found this restaurant close to our departing airport Limoges. The lunch was excellent. We we so pleased that we were given a table even though the restaurant was fully booked. The restaurant is located in the middle of the main square close to the covered market. The food was excellent and great value (17 euros). We really enjoyed the king prawns and the roast lamb. The staff were very welcoming. I would really recommend this place. Please visit the ruins of Oradour sur Clan which has been preserved as it was following the terrible murder of its inhabitants during WW2.
This is the second time we have eaten here and I was pleased to see that the superb food and service was consistent with our first visit. A basic menu but typically French and served at a pace that made you feel neither rushed nor forgotten. The only complaint from anyone in our group was that the portion size was a little too generous for an older person. Price and value for money - excellent. Will we go back? You bet we will.
What can I say. We pulled in to the village to be greeted by the owner and his friends. They could not have been more welcoming and jovial. They were so kind, making us a salad and charcuterie plate long after food had finished. The hospitality was the best we have had all week in France. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Merci bien! PS our car caused quite the stir too
on the place of the castle of the dukes of Mortmart, with a beautiful terrace this place is well placed. very friendly welcome, we had a drink with great pleasure. rates are very reasonable. the dishes we saw pass very copied. a place to be recommended.

Situated in the heart of one of France's prettiest villages, this English-run café serves a very acceptable plat-du-jour. Eating outside is a must to enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Good food and friendly service.

Best hot chocolate I have had for many years, no comparison to the watery drink found in most establishments. Delicious.
