We had reservations for a group of 20 on a Tuesday evening. The layout of the tables forced us to dine back to back...the conviviality of the evening suffered the consequences. And yet there was the possibility of setting a single table, even at the last minute. And to pay, I only had an associative checkbook, and it was necessary to insist heavily so that the check is accepted. No information concerning the refusal of payment by check had been given to us. The manager was very limited in terms of friendliness .... too bad, next time we will go elsewhere.
We stayed just outside La Rochelle (Aytré because we don't enjoy the big city attitude you often find in towns with lots of tourists. We loved that restaurant so much that we went there 2 nights in a row. You have to try the pane and tomato board. Every thing is fresh and home made. On top of that, we though that the first night we had the best people serving us, but then the second night was just as amazing. They have some recognition with hotels in the neighbourhood. Just so much better than what we experienced in La Rochelle.
it is appropriate but pay close to 30€ for a dish, a dessert and a 1/2 bottle of mineral water at noon a week, it is much. Anyway, the restaurant is full. service is correct and quality is appropriate.
