We have been coming to this restaurant as long as we have been coming to Lourdes, some twenty odd years now and we have never been disappointed. You really have to ignore the feeling of being in a time warp as you are transported back to the eighties, the food is the real star here. Despite being run by the same family for eons they have always remained friendly and efficient. They offer 3 menus @ € 20 , 25 , 30 all of which are fantastic . I genuinely believe you could not find better value for money considering the nobility of the ingredients. Depuis le changement de propriétaire, nous avons mangé plusieurs fois dans ce restaurant et nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Les plats changent régulièrement au gré des saisons. Les produits cuisinés sont frais et de saison et même le pain est fait maison ! Les plats sont excellents et copieux. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix agrémenté d'un accueil chaleureux !
We prefer to try different places when we travel and were in Lourdes for four nights and ate dinner here three times. It was that good, and the prices are very reasonable. The rooms are nicely done. The location is quiet and they have a patio area and private rooms for larger parties. The prix fix menus are excellent, as are the oysters.
Great meal yesterday at the Chalet de Biscaye, the cuisine is inventive (SPECIAL MENTION TO THE PROFITEROLES) with only homemade, it's excellent, great value for money, a welcome at the top, too bad this place, emblematic of the City de Lourdes, closed because the people of Lourdes did not give the new owners a chance...

We were looking for something to eat out of the centre of Lourdes and read the reviews for this place. We are so glad that we came here! Friendly, fantastic service and brilliant food. The value for money on the set menu was fantastic. The presentation excellent and traditional French food. Would highly recommend.
