Absolutely go but be prepared for light and shade. After two visits : As beautiful as everyone says if not more so. Service changeable from visit one which was hurried but efficient to visit two when the lady of the house was gracious and charming and helpful. Food a step above the usual nos spécialités Savoyardes, both in the range, quality of ingredients and detail of preparation. An aperitif in the garden with the sun shining down is worth a long journey. But it was a step not a leap. The chef's efforts did not earn him the right to teach my children a lesson about nutrition by refusing to serve frites to them and sending mashed potatoes instead. A rather dull lecture, clumsily delivered t...

You'll find this place at the bottom of the Fouilette de Golfe lift but don't go to the lift which is on the right hand side as you ski down, take a left and ski through the tunnel. You'll see the sign almost immediately on your right hand side. It's just tucked out of the way. One of our party had eaten here before and had the foresight to book ahead. The restaurant got very busy when we were there. We have already booked again for the half term week with our son as it was so nice. It's in beautiful surroundings and has a varied menu. The atmosphere is lovely and staff very attentive and friendly. Roaring fire allowed us to warm up and dry off some damp clothing. Plenty of coat hooks and st...

This is a lovely restaurant but it gets really busy very quickly so it’s always worth booking in advance we were a group of 10 sitting outside in the sun so pre booking was definitely necessary for us. Cost wise, this is not the place...for a cheap snack (where in the mountains is? but more bordering towards fine dining. Having said that, some of the wines were very reasonably priced (which is very rare in the mountains! and very good. I personally had a fantastic risotto and all the other meals looked great too ....... with the exception of the tartiflette that came encased in bread/pastry and was mostly left by my two friends that ordered it. A Savoy tartiflette should stand on its own mer...

We travel to Les Gets a couple of times a year and have only just discovered this amazing place just above the village. The staff were excellent and the food superb. For lunch it was amazing and we could so easily have settled in for the afternoon. I think we will have to stay there on our next visit. The gentleman who runs it was so lovely with my daughter who had received a nasty shock fall on a particularly horrible red (chamossiere) and he gave her the encouragement she needed to get back on the skis. We will definitely be back. Book a table now

Fantastic lunch. I had onion soup which was lovely although a couple of us ordered salad which didn't show up. Overall the food and service was great The setting is amazing and the atmosphere was ideal for a very memorable lunch with friends. We all got a bit out of hand and ended up singing songs with a group of locals. The owner came over and asked if everything was ok and told us he was very happy to see us having so much fun, which was a nice touch as we left singing to continue our singing on the slopes ⛷

Great food and service once you get a table. However, this place does not seem to know how to manage bookings. Twice recently, we arrived on time for our booking, from a very visibly stressed host that we must be patient... in the bar, as they don't have tables. We waited almost an hour both times. We were not alone, either on Saturday noon there were many groups that were hungry and confused or even upset. We're not coming back a weekend. To be honest, we will probably avoid completely for now.

12 of us had lunch here yesterday. About 5 hours later, three of us were violently sick. We think that the caesar salad and burgers were to blame. The food poisoning follows a fairly unsatisfactory meal: we had to wait a long time for our food, and the staff were surly and unhelpful. Avoid!!

This was our best find for lunch on the slopes. Away from the crowds, beautiful decor, ambient music, overall lovely surroundings. Friendly staff who excelled in customer service. Great food, the onion soup was fab, as were everyone else's meals. And all very reasonably priced. Book a table now

Food was excellent, but the service was really bad. It's low season and the restaurant wasn't full. Sa for 15 minutes before a waiter came to us after he was asked. No one came to ask us if we were okay or needed more drinks. Think twice if you want to be well looked around.
