Le Cottage - Table reservation

we arrived today in this restaurant and expected the same fabulous eating and service we received last year (see my review of juni, but oh, what a disappointment. the personal was in order, the surrounding beautiful but eating and service very bad. Today we have. the lobster salad ordered, followed by dover sole. I explained I suffer from Celiacs disease and the waiter said that he would be safe for me to eat and cook my fish without sauces. it did not happen.. first they gave me the wrong lobster plate, it contained gluten and then served my dover sole covered with sauce, this is really shocking, as allergies should be taken very seriously, in the last year in this same restaurant they were...

madame and I were in the third week of a French tour, and until then perhaps the edge of our appetites was due to long-lasting rich restaurants (and even more so, by the experience of the previous night in a pretentious spa restaurant that was...good bad. no warm reception and a subsequent service was not very good. Sat outside with the one I love in the calm of a June evening, lights flickering, what could be done to enhance this, food, excellent food and it became a reality. once again the service was excellent, the food was absolutely wonderful, from the locally...sourced lescargots to the steak and with the most effective contrast od rhubarb and sorbet imaginable. We absolutely love this restaurant and once again it delivered consistently good food with service the same, highly recommend this as the locals also use this so has to be good.

great welcome and excellent simple eating and wein pairing . the huh was fabulous. highly recommended on a stop between paris and the côte d’Azur . stay with the domaine de clairefontaine
