Le Dahu - Table reservation

We've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times now. The restaurant is situated across a couple of levels and we love the mountain decor. We have eaten there as a family. The restaurant offers standard ski resort fayre - steaks, pizzas, pasta, fondues and Savoyard dishes. I had pork ribs which came with chips and salad. My son had a great burger and younger one had the kids menu. The children had fruit cocktails and great ice cream desserts. The staff were friendly and attentative. We will certainly eat there again if we return to Tignes.

Food was ok but we ordered the set menu and they forgot to serve the dessert (didn't realize this until we got home). We were so full anyway it didn't matter as the portions are large. Service was happy. they gave us the bill of someone else - good thing to always check your bill. Regardless it was too expensive for value.

We wanted to have lunch with a family of six. We sat at an available table. We were ignored for about 30 minutes. When we finally got the attention from the waiter only one out of 4 pasta's and 2 out of 4 salads on the menu were available.

Located comfortably near ski slopes. Ski lodge atmosphere...cozy. Service - polite and informative. Menu in English too. Huge plates. Excellent taste...tried salads and the house soup (18 €). Expensive but worth it.

A bit more french clientele than the average bar in Tignes. A good selection of drinks and hard liqour. Pool table and friendly people.
