I live in Soula Sur Mer. My husband and I visited the Grill Ocean for lunch. I ordered from the dish of the day my husband ordered from the A La Carte Menu. When the meals arrived my husband had the wrong dish. Mine...was correct but to me it looked as if it had been plated up some hours before. I touched it with my little finger and it was cold. I returned it to the waiter and said, I do not want this or to have it replaced. I will sit here and just wait for my husband. My husband finished his meal and he enjoyed it. I asked for the bill. I was charged for the two meals, I paid without question, its a small town. End of story for us. Some weeks later I had a visit to my home from the owner...
Drove a little more than 20 km from Begadan to find a decent seafood place where we could get a bite.. Was there early June so most of the restaurant were close and this one was actually packed so we thought it was a good sign. Menu was looking good, staff are friendly and the fish soup was ok too.... but the 'moules frites' (both white wine & cream options) were not that good... The table next to us had to send the duck magret they ordered back twice to the kitchen... They didn't seem very pleased either.Last, double check your bill as there was a 12e mistake on ours... Coffee and desserts were included in the set!Lucky we saw it on time... Cheers
The food here is excellent, the staff attentive and the view to die for. The main course for both my wife and myself could not have been better but the dessert could have used fresh pineapple and mango. The staff are available without beng intrusive and the restaurant is in front of the sea.The food is more expensive than some places in Soulac but good value.Highly recommended.
Went here last week for lunch for a nice meal before the end of our hol. The food is great. Very typically french, but caters for children so not a problem. The service was good; the manager/ owner was great trying to understand the kids when they spoke french. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. Wish I could go back again soon.

Went here for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we came back for lunch. All of our food was excellent. There is a set children's menu that is good value, 2 options each for entree and main. For adults, different set menus or a la carte are possible. Oysters are excellent. Very nice wine list.
randomly walking on the seaside, a beautiful terrace, almost no car at this season and a sun table very pleasant in this month of October. Quick and friendly service. a menu with excellent value for money and we ate very well.
We had a glass of rose here. And it tasted great. Most of the time it tastes like sugar water, but this was a really nice glass of wine. Simple but good with the best view ever. Very popular with locals as well.
We had two very good meals there. The service was quick and friendly. And the food was delicious. Not to mention the view of the ocean. We will definitely return the next time we are in Soulac sur Mer.

menu week to 18 euros. attractive. Unfortunately, the fish soup is no longer what it was! very elongated with water. Too bad. dessert was a white cheese educated. Otherwise, the fish was very good.
