We where overwhelmed by our meal at this beautiful restaurant, set in the grounds of the magnificent Château Léognan, where we were stopping over for a night. The restaurant is in a beautifully converted stables but all diners were seated outside on the terrace, which was large enough to have been a former riding area. The staff, despite their apparent youth, were knowledgeable, attentive and professional and gave us excellent advice on the wine (from the domaine). The setting is wonderful, surrounded by horses in the fields. Service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the gravlax which was simply delicious, probably one of the best I have ever tasted. My husband had a very good fish dish and we had some iberico ham to share with the kids. we had deserts which were delicious and they offered us some sweets with coffee. I am not normally a fan of the classic French macaroons but these were yummy. Recommend.
