The pea soup with soft boiled egg (raw)was creative; but my wife likes her egg cooked hard. Neither of us liked the guinea fowl plate. I thought, oh my gosh, in a fish sauce! Turns out the unpleasantly strong fish aroma was coming not from my plate but from the plate just served at the neighboring table. I don’t want to be unfair: others seemed to be enjoying their meals. Even that strong fish.
I went to this resto that was supposed to be open at 19h30. It was closed. I came back at 20h00 and it was still closed. If you are going to post a schedule that says you are open Mon-Fri at 19h30 you should be open. Otherwise post a sign. This has been a continuing annoyance in Tain/Tournon my whole stay. Most restos are open only at lunch and not for dinner.
Went tonight, fantastic meal. We are both wine professionals and asked them to provide wine pairings based on our dinner selections. Both the food and pairings came out great. A can’t miss restaurant when in the area. We’ll be back next time we are in the area.
We ate the menu and the food was delicious! The restaurant is well placed, easy to walk to and with a modern clean decoration! The wine, we drank a white one, was excelente! Prices are ok!
