I'm happy to report that this special property got it's sparkle back. We have been coming to this property for 20 years, we used to stay here. When it was under Chinese ownership it sank in quality and experience. I'm happy to report under new French ownership, it's come back to it's former self. We were able to eat outside at the just opened terrace near the pool. We had a beautiful meal with excellent service. The only downside was (I hate to say) another American who could not control his demanding children who acted like it was a park instead of a restaurant, running yelling and ignoring their father. after having tasted 4 excellent original cocktails on the garden sofas, in a setting that you can no longer enjoy, at the foot of the summits, our lunch took place in the best way possible. delicate and tasty entries (the feve could have more relief. and fantastic dishes, in terms of product quality, cooking and flavour control (magic codoodles, melted calf, tender blue bath and delicious salmon trout with great elegance. desserts are also very good. beautiful wine map with excellent options of small producers. service young and friendly, dogs of all sizes accepted: happiness!

From the moment you are welcomed you know that you are going to be pampered and taken to the beaches of delicacy, the meal was as promised, refined and succulent served by staff attentive to your every desire, And to top it all off, you have lunch in the shadow of the majestic Mont-Blanc. C’est toujours un plaisir de dîner au Matafan! Les yeux fermés pour commander et on va de surprise en surprise ! Gustativement c’est top ! Joliment présenté, la qualité est là et avec un service irréprochable ! C’est vraiment appréciable . Je précise qu’il est impensable de passer à côté des desserts, absolument délicieux et originaux. an excellent address on chamonix, the frame is sublime. Very well received, the aperitif takes place in the garden. for the meal, a very greedy reduced card. service and advice are effective and very professional. the frame is splendid inside. We recommend you!
Excellent kitchen. The dish of the day shoulder of lamb with smoked wheat risotto and ceps was very copied. The desserts are very refined. Very good menu from the day to 35€, we will return! Excellent service. We were very well served by Emily.
incredible address, the frame is absolutely perfect. impeccable service and guard. the dishes of a great finesse are very tasty. We loved it! we have had a good time and we recommend this restaurant without hesitation!
Much improved in the last year. Gone are the loud bus loads of Chinese tourists. We ate outside near the pool, this new space is lovely. The food and service very good.
