This restaurant like pretty all others in Sarlat offered a value menu under 15 € that offered a app., entree and dessert for one price. The restauranr was pretty well empty at 7::00 on a Saturday night. After entering and being seated just outside the kitchen, we were given menus and waited at least 7 or 8 minutes for the server to come back and take our order. We order drinks along with the food order. She then walked back to a computer screen and made no move to provide us with water and bread. We don't know whether the order went to the kitchen or not. We then got up and walked out of the place.
We chose this place over other restaurants because it was out of the way and quiet we were greeted warmly and served promptly without being rushed. The food was excellent and varied, a taste of home cooked meals rather than fine dining but the desserts had a little surprise twist to them that really finished off the meal. I would call again.
