Le Mur du Roy - Table reservation

I have spent two weeks at the Hotel Restaurant Le Mur du Roy, Penvins Sarzeau. A beautiful location, a stones throw to the sea. Very peaceful hotel, beautiful view in the morning of the dawn over the sea whilst drinking hot coffee with delightful warm croissants. The hotel has been taken over this year by a very professional couple with experience: Miguel and Anais. The hotel will be renovated to modernise and refresh, although I found it cosy the way it was.. Every night was a moment of pleasure to be presented with delicious plates and good friendly professional service .. each dish very well presented and tasty. This very popular restaurant specialises in fish and shellfish meals, and very good they generally are too. We stayed here for one week on a demi-pension basis. We ate six evening meals, all but one of which ranged from very good to excellent. (We had the one rather indifferent meal on the day we arrived – and the problem may have been that we weren’t expected) The setting is lovely: you sit on the terrace, or just inside, very close to and overlooking the sea. Service was excellent: generous and attentive, tending to formality. Yes, we’d very happily go again.

Very good price quality food and friendly and adequate service. We dined on the terras with a nice view to the south east on the sea with colourfull skies. Original and beautiful and tasty dishes.

Was there for lunch a couple of weeks ago and we had great time. Friendly service despite the place being busy. Very good cotriade. Attentive service.

Nice view and good place to eat. Original recipes like 3 vegetables homemade icecream and their Kig Ha Farz.
