Le Pain Du Jour Bakery

I wanted to like it. Their parking is bad. You better find parking in the residential streets. Then we arrived at 12:30 and everything was gone. No bread, only a few pastries left. We tried the almond chocolate croissant. It was very dry, tasted like a day old pastry. They charge $4.75 for that! Overprice for something that should have been thrown away. We also got overcharged because we paid by CC. There is no mention of it anywhere and we found out once we got the receipt. Prices are not indicated either for the pastries. the best bake I had so far in la! fresh and tasty! definitely come back here! the baguette was also not bad, but I think they find better baguette on the original farmers market, although definitiw more expensive too. price value taste is quite good here!

Pastries and coffee is great, unfortunately the service is unfriendly and the ambiance is dead. Also extremely short staffed , resulting in long lines and long wait .

best brot and baked. baguettes to sue. they can also drink a decent coffee.
