The restaurant was recommended by a friend as a place for good food and a relaxed atmosphere that would not cost an arm and a leg. It turns out that we were in Lourdes during Malta week and had several members of the order dining there at the same time. My wife and I decided to vary our orders, she ordered the fixed plate(20E) and I ordered the full plate(25E) , and we shared a bottle of Chateau Bouscasse 2010 Madrian. The dinner was quite delicious with the Duck, and fish being nicely done to a turn, and the salad plate was just right. My wife had the tiramisu, and I had the creme brulee. it was a very enjoyable meal, and we will return on our next visit.

We were a family of four adults, two of us ordered a burger+fries and the other two ordered the mixed grill. The burger was "ok" but the fries were better off as mashed potatoes. The mixed grill was a JOKE and also one of the most expensive items on the menu. We were presented with one piece of maybe 100g of beef fillet, a thin slice of duck breast and literally a bone with no meat at all for the lamb. Manager came up with the excuse that the lamb was small and the meat was too cooked. To eat some proper meat go to Le Magret and for a much better pizza go to Da Marco. Avoid at all costs.

I took an advise of a local person for this restaurant. At the beginning I did not think much of it as the environment around it is not the fancy one that can be found elsewhere in Lourdes. I changed my mind quickly when the salad with the duck cutlets came at first followed by the agneau dish. What a chef. He is in a league of his own. I enjoyed the meal to the fullest. May be his fries might need an extra touch to make himself excellent in all aspects. The service was also nice and cordial. It is a real gem.

Lourdes in early March can be cold and rainy. Le Palacio is one of the few (yes I mean few) restaurants that are open for dinner. If you go to Lourdes before the tourist season opens finding a local restaurant that's open can be a challenge. This one has atmosphere but isn't intimidating. The food is good and not too pricey. It's not a far walk from the grotto if you happen to be staying near there but it is up hill - then almost everything is from the grotto. Book a table now

We visited lourdes during our tour in France on our way to Spain. This place is 10 minutes walking distance going up the hill from La Grotte de Lourdes. The route to this restaurant is via alleys and a little bit weird but save. This is a family restaurant and the owner welcomes you kindly. The food is cheap including a bottle of wine, well presented and tasted good. Would recommend this place if you wish to avoid the crowd at the other 4 starts restaurants.

From the outside it looks like a take away pizza / brasserie. Yes it does take away pizza. But....the food is way above bog standard Lourdes brasseries! Excellent food, served by a friendly team with a superb chef. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is purely that they go on holiday for two weeks at the end of August due to certain pilgrimages being in town...which is usually when I am there :(

Nice atmosphere, excellent and friendly service, nice food, cheap. So we never miss this place when we are in Lourdes. You cannot be wrong anyway when you choose anything on the menu as everything is well prepared and served to you with a great smile. The Tete de veau is superb, the tournedos with froie gras is great and al lthe salads are perfect. Nice list of local wines.

We have dined here a few times and the food is always great. I love the confit duck, its the best duck in town. As you can see by our empty plates! LolThe atmosphere is cozy and intimate, it is really great place to eat and relax. Its located in the local part of town, so there are not too many tourists in the area.We will be back again soon! Was there on a Friday-evening, when it was still calm in Lourdes. Had a first an second dish and a small bottle of whine. They served the first course within 5 minutes and the second course after 5 minutes after they removed the first course. Saw the same on the other tables. Nice restaurant, but to hushy....
