We arrived at about 12.30 , starter arrived just over an hour later and by 3.00 had determined to leave if our mains didn't arrive in the next few minutes ! The menu E 19.50 was thought to be good value , but we didn't wait for pudding, food could have been good , but frankly not worth the wait! Lots of other tables were complaining , waiting and moaning about food not delivered. They should not take the tables if they can't cope! Our waiter Vincent was flat out and very apologetic. Wish we'd gone else where!
We arrived and disrupted the proceedings with two pushchairs and small children but no-one was at all fazed. They allowed us plenty of time to sort ourselves out with highchairs and babies meals. They were very attentive in particular Vincent who was very patient with our broken french and very good with his english. The pizza and calzone were excellent (made within the restaurant from scratch) and the entrecotes were perfect. Would definitely recommend a visit to this brasserie.
Waiter was appallingly disinterested and quite rude. We were sat right on the edge of terrace and there was an awful smell we should’ve moved but we were already expecting something nasty to be inserted in our drinks….we ordered in French but clearly he knew we’re English because he was charm itself to the french customers. Tempted to be rude back but didn’t want to stoop to his level
Loved this place. Due to covid restrictions they are only doing wonderful lunches. We sat in the sunshine and were served efficiently. The owner speaks good English and has a keen sense of humour.

1 hour waiting for the 5 well frozen children menus. record to beat!Personally I'm still waiting for my meal. and for those who have been served for 30 minutes. Well, the mood with friends isn't.
being myself from the south west, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of foie gras and magret. good value quality price, and very good reception of servers.
Friendly service good food a nice location in the middle of Bergerac. We enjoyed a quick lunch here, washed down with a nice crisp rose from the local area.
We ate a hearty and good quality meal for a reasonable price, the waiters are charming and the setting is rather nice.
