After having passed by this little restaurant many many times on the main route through Saint Pierre, we finally booked a table for two, for Friday lunch, without having seen the menu beforehand. We were not disappointed, as the menu du jour included two choices for each course, rillettes de saumon fume, or deep-fried camembert sald, to start, then mains of Saute de veau or lieu tagliatelle . So we were both very happy, as one of us is pescatarian. Desserts were d'ananas, or verrine citron, both served with glaces. A bottle of local red wine just 15E completed a delicious lunchtime experience. Il faut se coucher maintenant...!

We ended up there because of horrible service at L'écume in St-Trojan (never go there, they really don't care about people) and were positively surprised. Their service was great and having a 16-month old I asked for some cooked vegetables which came really fast (we know how babies don't like to wait) which was perfect! Their menu choices was good and each of us ordered something different and found it excellent. They have a 30€ menu which includes an appetizer, a main course and a dessert. Service was great and very friendly.

This restaurant is located in a 'suck ' like building just off the main road there is a parking lot. The interior is historic fisherman with a real fire at it 's centre. There is a set menu with 4 6 choices per plate covering both seafood, fish and meat all of which are simply cooked relying on the excellent produce which on the occasion we visited was very justified.

New owner, new cook, new menu. The restaurant was more than half full on a Tuesday evening mid November, a very pleasant surprise. We spent time chatting with the new owner and the staff and had a great evening. We definitively recommend the place. Likely will require booking well in advance in the summer months!
