Mac and Mimi are so kind and gracious. We are living in Riscle for nearly 5 months. They welcome us so warmly. Our French is so terribly basic, but we muddle through. They try in English as well. The food is delicious and hearty and worth the 13 E. We go several times a week at least for coffee. It's the heart and soul of Riscle.
We muddled by with my school French! There was a set menu of four courses each of which was very tasty and huge. It cost 13euros each as we did not have wine. Fabulous food! The kids loved it and as it was a set menu they ate things they would not normally choose.
the quality is there, very good value for money the bosses are really in the small care for customers and excavations...More
difficult in the small towns of the gers, in the middle of winter ( 14°C still) to find a Wednesday restaurant...More
