We stopped at the restaurant the relay of the monks for lunch and we did not regret it! Perfect service (but you're the son?? : and very welcoming chefs Alsatian cuisine authentic and very tasteful... Started with a delicious onion soup and then a sauerkraut with 5 meats... These are traditional meals and prepared with qualiity products. We also sympathized with Eric and Odile the owners who are charming and very helpful people. Meetings like we do more! Price more than correct for eating ( dessert flat entrance for 28 € approx. The sauerkraut alone at 18€, and we're not stolen on the quantity! As promised, we'll see you as soon as we're in the corner
as a couple, alsacians so connoisseurs of local gastronomy, it was a test of the quality of reception of a typical restaurant of our home vis-à-vis tourists. the atmosphere, the setting, the reception are good though without heat given the affluence. the meal known as duck foie gras duck glass of late harvest of riquewhir was too expensive for poor chutney and the 3 salad leaves with a slice of tomato canteen: 27 euros. a little more in quantity and quality would be necessary not to take our visitors for pigeons. but it is so in all the tourist corners of france. fortunately there are some exceptions.
It wasn't our first visit to the relay. It's with pleasure that we could stand in the alcove. It is a restaurant with a calm atmosphere that delights us every time. We also took advantage of the terrace to take an aperitif welcome after our walk in the hills of the village. the dishes are typically Alsatian, the proposed glass of wine is pleasant. ratio quality/price normal.
We have lunch in this restaurant this day, we have taken the tart munster, one thing to say delicious! I recommend the eyes closed, the restaurant interior is very clean, the pleasant staff, and the nougat iced for dessert, very good value for money!

Passing to riquewihr. We came to this restaurant without reservation and were accepted. Nice staff and very good food. I don't understand negative opinions. We'll come back when we get back to riquewihr
Don't miss Riquewihr! I read a few negative comments on the staff's sympathy! I need to be told why we're still serving as kings? The smile is always at the rendezvous, and the plas are delicious.
The kitchen is good. The servers, perhaps outdated, were not gracious and the atmosphere felt. The people who were trying to venture greenly made themselves sent a shepherd. Too bad...
a careful and thoughtful service, a follow-up of impeccable requests. We ate very well, for a reasonable price. welcoming staff.
