I am always interested in the welcome when you arrive at a restaurant. I have skied past this for 10 years and always wanted to visit, so eventually we made the detour and ate last week. The welcome was a little slow, as the entire 3 vallees is understaffed. But we were offered a corner table after confirming that we hadn't booked like second class citizens. We were given water, and then weren't offered a drink, nor a menu for at least 15 minutes. What's disappointing is that other people arrived after us, were seated, offered menus and drinks before us. We spoke in French, and waited politely. Eventually after a considerable wait, the waitress returned, took the order, and the food arrived...

I have enjoyed eating here on two occasions since moving up from Provence. However I have been overcharged on both occasions by around 15€ each time. When pointed out I have been given my money back but I can't help but think I am being disrespected. The first time can easily be a mistake but the second ? For this reason I will choose to eat elsewhere.

As you ski along Boulevard Cumin towards the Doron lift you come upon it on your left. We were a group of five and had been before in previous years. Pleasant friendly service, two beers pression and an excellent plat du jour. Lots of old farm and dairy implements inside and murals give it a very pleasant rustic ambience

A great find on our snowy walk around the lake. Our two small dogs were also welcome which was a real bonus. The restaurant had a real welcoming mountain cosy feel. The service was very friendly and efficient. The butternut soup and French onion soups were excellent both tasty and piping hot.
