under the platanes of the terrace in the beautiful days or in the room, simple but nice kitchen, with a small British note that changes the ordinary: I have feasted with the cajun chicken and the house burger is appetizing. a flat on the desserts: can do better for a drizzy coffee tiramisu, a mistled cream without much taste and especially enjoyolles without chocolate or whipped sauce, in a cabbage whose industrial origin is suspected. damage - but we can do it without worry!

After a long struggle to find parking, we are anxious to get some good coffee and find it in this pub. It's everything you dream of in terms of coffee and very different from the brown liquid hotels/B&B serve. The barmaid is friendly and efficient, even though we can see she's busy. I notice a wonderfully stocked bar, but it's only 8am... Next time! 2 Grande Cremes (wonderful, aromatic, huge cafe lattes) served with a smile come to the very reasonable €6.40 all included.**

Return visit and it did not disappoint. A warm evening sitting out in the quiet square St. Jacques at tables outside the bar/restaurant. Service excellent as previously, very French meals excellently prepared by the English owner/chef (although apparently the business is for sale). Cafe Gourmond dessert one of the best I've had. Menu is limited but that means making a choice is not complicated.

I have never had a bad meal here. Colin (joint owner) is English/French and is the main chef, Nadine (joint owner) is front of house, they are joined br Renault who is a brilliant waiter. I advise you to phone to book because its normally full. Typically you will expect business people, couples and its ok for families as well.

Always good food well cooked. The cafe gourmand is exceptional. The menu is not huge but never disappoints. The service is always good and friendly so assume the previous comment about service was unlucky.

good reception, a rather wide choice. Steak pie good, seasoning aside for 15€50. A little expensive, given the amount of meat. served quickly. enjoy the strawberries in dessert, not wise for the season. Book a table now
