Watery prawns oozing a brown liquid, dry overcooked ravioli de Royan....sacrilege! Pleasant waitress but with little wine knowledge. Not much ambience even though we were poolside. Does not deserve the two casserole rating from Logis de France. Maybe it was an off night, but we shan't be dining here again, thus not staying at the hotel. A pity as we had hoped this could have been a regular stop on our trips back and forth between the UK and France.

This restaurant is set in a hotel with the dining terrace beside a swimming pool (that could have been better maintained) so the initial impression wasn't great. However things became significantly better when we received the menu and then the fine dishes ordered from it. As well as a fine winelist some wine from notable vinyards is offered by the pichet. The end result was a surprisingly good experience.

Went with a large wine group to this restaurant. Jammed into the restaurant dining room, stuffy with temp about 90 degrees with AC supposedly on. Food and service was marginal at best. Left as quick as we could. Can't fully blame the restaurant but they should have not agreed to serve that big of a group if they couldn't handle it professionally.

Overall not bad, but maybe trying a little to hard with the presentation of the food at the expense of the quality. The lamb was fatty, sinuous and not trimmed properly, the onion soup was warm and quite tasteless etc. Service good but sadly cannot recommend.
