Le Sud is not in the centre of Pau. It is the location (after a garden center, a Buffalo Grill MacDonalds) is inspiring. I've been driving it past countless times and I haven't given him a second look. Last week we were looking for somewhere to take my mother-in-law... for dinner and simple parking were a priority. We decided to give Le Sud an attempt. As we wish, we would eat there sooner! The food was some of the best I ate in Pau. The menu is innovative without going too far and the dishes are all beautifully presented. The restaurant is elegantly modern and the service is great. We will definitely be back.
Very good reception, very friendly and smiling staff, despite the mask. The dishes offered are copied but mostly sought after. We have been explained that the chief work of fresh, local products and highlight the flavours of food. The chef is an excellent pastry, which uses little sugar in his plates which allows to work the flavors. I highly recommend for a complete 39€ menu, you will have for your taste buds
We were just around the corner and liked the view of the restaurant so we made an evening reservation. The food was so delightful and the staff so helpful that we book again for the following evening!
