During our vacation drive from Quebec City to Montreal, my girlfriend suggested we stop in Trois Rivière. Initially hesitant, I decided to look up nearby craft beer options and stumbled upon a place with a captivating name. It turned out to be a fantastic detour! This establishment was a coffee roaster, craft brewery, and restaurant with a patio, beer garden, live music, and a BBQ kitchen. Every beer we sampled was outstanding, especially the IPA and Stout from the "strong beer" flight.
The restaurant provides a wonderful selection of craft beers brewed locally. The pastrami sandwich I had was excellent, served on a fresh bun with seeds. The desserts were enticing, although I didn't get to sample them. The coffee was also delicious, made with honey from the restaurant's rooftop beehives. This is the ideal spot for lunch when traveling between Quebec and Montreal.
We made this our go-to spot during our stay in Trois-Rivières. Trendy atmosphere, staff reflecting the establishment. Go there even if, like us, you are over 70 years old.
