Le Tirou - Table reservation

My wife and I have been meaning to dine here since 2015 however as the restaurant only opens for evening meals on a Saturday, things have just not worked out. This year I made sure that we secured a table and finally made it. An excellent menu awaits, plenty of choice and judging by the various selections made by our fellow diners all appeared delighted with their choices. I am a creature of habit and plumbed for the Cassoulet which is the signature dish and I was glad I did, the meat simply falls apart and the flavours were amazing. My wife decided to select tornados of filet steak and this looked delicious, she liked it so much I didn’t even get a taste. We went for a set menu washed down...

Booked the Tirou yesterday as passing Castelnaudary on way to Toulouse airport on recommendation from friends We were not disappointed The Cassoulet looked superb but too heavy for us en route We chose the cheapest menu and had amazing pate's, superb duck,and Black pudding with apple and superb vegetables Desert was beautiful apple tarted covered in a foam cream sauce, nuts and home made ice cream Service was relaxed but attentive The whole meal was memorable We will be back

We had a wonderful meal here. The food was lovely and the service superb. The chef/ owner even gave us a lift back to our boat afterwards. Can’t recommend highly enough.

an atmosphere, a decor, a welcome, and a divine cassoulet on the spot and take the taste later and let the good memories go back.
