We stumbled across this place after one of our kids had a to do a theatre performance after school and it was too late to eat at home. We thought we would grab a quick bite with them but wish we hadn't bothered. Service was incredibly slow and we had to keep asking for things that the waitress had forgotten. We ordered 2 burgers, fish and chips and a plate of cheese and charcuterie. The burgers were ok but nothing special, the fish and chips was really greasy as were the chips accompanying the burgers. This place sells probably more than 50 different beers and loads of great wines too. We stopped for lunch which seemed to be mainly burgers, fish and chips, moules and salads. I showed my gluten free card to them and although it seemed that they hadn 't come across it before, they couldn 't have been more helpful. I had a fantastic salad with egg, tuna, olives, etc and they triple checked the dressing was suitable for me. My dining companions enjoyed their food too, especially the veggie burger and beer ! We ate here after turning into town and we were not disappointed at all! The brown waitress and the blond waitress were both very nice and pleasant! We ate very well and Belgian fries were simply delicious! The rate was very reasonable for the location! Don’t hesitate!
