We had a lovely evening sharing a selection of their smaller plates of food - we chose the ones we wanted to eat and they served them one at a time. Almost like a mini tasting menu! The hostess remembered us from the previous year which was very touching and was kind and very welcoming - we look forward to coming back again when we can take her up on her offer of a disgestif after dinner!They have added larger plates of food to the menu for those that don't want to share this year.We particularly liked the foie gras with black garlic, the steak and the strawberry and chocolate soups for pudding. A real highlight at the end of the meal. Merci - see you again soon we hope!
This is a fairly small cafe in the village. There is abundant parking within a short walk. The reception is very friendly and helpful, with a clear english (as well as French) explanation of what the food is, an idea of how it is cooked and how the menu works. Many items can be small or large plates.We had a large'starter -a selection of shareable portions- followed by 5 delicious small plates . The quatity was very satisfying but not gutbusting'.I finished with a strawberry fruit which I regret I could not finish. And I really tried!
First impression of this place and name is that this is just a café, it's not! the food, service and hospitality of this place is magic.Sat outside and enjoyed the evening. We got into conversation with the other guests at the other tables, some were regulars, very enjoying, an evening we'll remember for many years going on.The food at this place is fantastic, well prepared and prepared with a lot of love and passion.Service is very friendly and quick.When in the area, a stop here is a must!
After a long day in Arles we managed to reserve a table at this fine restaurant. We were warmly received and had a small little table outside, which was even sitting on bar stooles very comfortable. The service is excellent and the menu is small but very rich. The service includes an explanation of every dish on the menu. Wine is excellent and the food we ordered was perfect. We spend a wonderful evening and I hope we will be there again.

We visited Le Vanilla on the last night of our stay in Mausanne. It is a deceptively small cafe that sells ice creams during the day so it's easy to think its just an nice cream joint. The menu was interesting, Heloise the wife of the chef was really helpful and friendly and spoke great English. She explained everything to us very patiently. The food was really great and the desert exceptional. This is one place not to miss.
Interesting food with a wine list to match. Local produce used with great effect. A breathe of fresh air in what has become a very touristy village. The decor is deceptive and does not come close to the quality of the food.
This is a small restaurant with inside and outside dining options. Husband in the kitchen and wife serving with great passion. One of the highlights during our stay in France this year! You will not be disappointed!
We dined here this evening. The food was amazing. I could only describe it as traditional authentic, inventive French cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and generous. Very reasonably priced food

Great restaurant, great value, small place, eat in out or outside-its basically a 2 team operation and meals are prepared individually so enjoy the ambiance and don't rush. Great value.
