We had a free afternoon in Tournon whilst on a Viking River Cruise, so we walked across the bridge to Tain L'Hermitage, to sample some local wines. We weren't expecting to find many places open, as it was 11 November, but this place was, and it seemed very popular with locals. We had a glass of Condrieu and a glass of Hermitage and were given a little complimentary snack to go with our wines. Great wines in a nice atmosphere, with pleasant staff.
We arrived without reservation at 6. It was early, the waiter, a big brown barb so that we could get settled. He was very nice. served us as kings. A lot of humor, no wait. I recommend but book before. They've been repressing a lot of people after us.
We had a tour of la chapelle overlooking the vineyards of Paul Jaboulet. We returned to their shop and restaurant. It was so good! We were very well looked after and sampled some amazing wines. The meal was very well presented and tasted really good.
We ate there several times at the end of the summer. for a reasonable price that we ate very well. Plus the boss is very nice when the server is more enjoyable. We can't find it. I recommend! Book a table now
very good reception, the kitchen is very good. Stop on the occasion of a visit to the hermitage of the spot you will not be disappointed. the prizes are for all scholarships. I recommend.
