Le Wine Club by D&Y

The wines served here are very reasonably priced and well chosen by the Management, so you wont be disappointed with your choice. The staff speak English, but very kindly put up with me practising my very poor French. Whilst we didn't eat here the food at other tables looked fresh and delicious. You can buy bottles to take home as well. A little out of the way, follow the signs to the Cesars Panoramic restaurant and its in a small streel before you get to the hotel. We went on a night when they had a jazz trio playing which just added to the atmosphere. A must if you are staying in Bonnieux.

After a canicular visit of gordes and the village of bonnieux we were looking for a light and shaded lunch break. we chose wine club on the sheltered terrace but the waiter kindly directed us to the cellars much cooler and we did not regret. at the expense in a cellar we were amazed by the beauty of places and dishes. the simple melon salad mozzarella rocket from the buffalo was overturning of flavor and the Asian bowl very original. as a bonus of wise advice for the rosé. We left with a few bottles in bonus. the reception was friendly and warm. to be recommended

Take time to slip into the courtyard of the former City Hall on the way down from the High Church and have a delicious lunch at this little bistro run by the Wine Club a few steps below. I recommend escargot (served in edible and tasty shells). The beef tartare is also quite tasty. It is served with a lovely red from the Chateauneuf-du-Pape region.

And not that. a beautiful terrace quiet. a kitchen just with fresh products. a beautiful wine map and a very pleasant welcome. everything is gathered to spend an excellent time. To discover.
