We shared the Chicken Gyro plate and a side of lemon potato wedges for lunch, which turned out to be the perfect amount for two. The Greek salad was a bit heavy on the dressing, but otherwise, it was delicious and came with a generous serving of stuffed grape leaves. The restaurant boasts a lovely outdoor seating area. Our meal at Lefteris Gyro was the ideal lunch on a beautiful autumn day spent exploring Tarrytown! The restaurant was quite popular, with a line forming when we left. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love Greek food! The dishes were wonderful and delicious. The salad was fresh and light, while the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection. Both the gyro and souvlaki were well-seasoned and juicy, with the gyro being particularly impressive. The baklava struck the right balance—it wasn’t overly sweet, just pleasantly sweet, so I genuinely enjoyed everything we ordered. The only downside was the service; our male server was a bit rude and seemed to hardly check on us.
Overall great experience! Never tried Greek food before and everything we had were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was very calming and a very pretty view of the streets of Tarrytown. Prices within reasonable limits and the food portions are big and some can be shared with 2 people. Great experience and will come back again whenever in Tarrytown.
I love Greek food!! Food was great and tasty. Salad was refreshing and tangy. Grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and gyro and souvlaki were not dry at all and seasoned well. Gyro was very good. Baklava wasn?t too sweet but nicely sweet so I generallyloved all the food. Only the service wasn?t good. Our male server was a little bit rude and barely came.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant has expanded since my last visit. There's now a lovely back room with a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered a swordfish kebab, which came with a salad, and I was very impressed. The prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. The food was also fantastic. I will definitely be returning!
Authentic Greek food at its finest! Super atmosphere, fast and friendly service! They even asked if we wanted to have our soup reheated because we were taking our time eating it! Highly recommend! Perfect distance from the waterfront park as well.
The food was delicious and authentic. The servers were very kind to us and were on top of everything. A friend told us the Greek Salad and Lentil Soup were amazing. She was right. The lamb was delicious as well.
This place is one of our favorite restaurants! We tried to eat various foods here and all foods were soooooo good. Won't be disappointed at all. You can have best greek food here! Highly recommend!????
