I would give this meal 5 stars if Happy Cow would leave me! This was the first vegan meal I found/at in Salzburg and it bleededed me away. Everything was in German (I don’t speak or read German) but I saw the word “vegan” and ordered the vegan meal without knowing what would come. A delicious plate full of lentils, rice and greens was presented and there were the best lentils I've ever eaten. Couldn't get enough over the food! The vegan brownie was pretty good, and the lemonade is similar to lemon ginger kombucha. Also had the option for soy milk for coffee, which was really nice. The service was fast and the waiters were so friendly, loved mind would recommend!

The 'LeichtSinn ' is a really lovely place serving excellent, healthy food. They offer a range of vegetarian dishes, including lasagne and curries, and they have a very nice salad bar. Almost everything is freshly prepared and they try to offer organic food where possible. I 've heard that they are very happy to prepare delicious vegan dishes on request. The atmosphere is laid back and staff is very friendly. It 's also a nice place to have a coffee and something sweet; their choice of sweets is rather untypically Austrian, though (they 'd have shortbread and brownies, for example). I especially recommend their home made ginger lemonade it 's delicious!

Smooth is a beautiful bistro near the train station. I also used a break when changing the trains to eat there. All the lime mint soda, the middle salad and also the porcini mushroom ravioli with lime sauce had this special something that turned a good meal into a very good one. The very small daily menu, however, limits the choice for vegans. Really a recommendation.

For a late breakfast, but I think they have a daily changing menu that had only 3 choices. A choice was vegan and a vegetarian. Also had a very refreshing choice of lemonade. We tied the rosemary and the ginger limonade. Had a falafel bowl that was delicious and large portion. Service was great!
