Just stayed in the area one night and thrilled to find this treasure. The Village Gate Square is so charming! We enjoyed outdoor seating on a perfect night. The rosé and Prosecco were a lovely start. Enjoyed Virginia oysters, Lento Caesar salad, red gold beet salad and chilled Spanish octopus salad. All delicious, flavorful and the perfect serving size. Tuesday Oyster night is wonderful. I also very much recommend the Tempura Fried Squash Blossoms, so fresh and delicious! Jenna (sp? our waitress was fantastic, she really knew the menu and gave great suggestions, was attentive but not overbearing and very smiley. Which is always a great sign you will get good service, she obviously likes her job and does it very well. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.
Had never been here before but my son had. My appetizer was the Calamari — the aoli was perfect for the dish. I had the Grouper which was excellent. Please don't get me started about the bread olive oil — I could make a meal just out of that. Service was better than I have seen in a restaurant since before COVID. They are absolutely doing everything right here!
Great experience here! The wait staff was great; really friendly, had great recommendations, and checked on us often to fill waters. The wait was surprisingly short given how busy they were when I went. The veggie paella was really good and they have a nice selection of wines and beers to try. I'd definitely go again!

Had an amazing time thanks to Harper, his knowledge and talent made it a very memorable dinner. The swordfish and lamb were also amazing. Make sure to sit at the bar for an enriching experience.
Good food, steak was a little thin, but had good flavor. Fried squash blossoms were amazing. Swordfish was very good. Even though steak was good, it was not $50 worth
Great restaurant — if you like oysters definitely come on a Tuesday. The trout today was so fresh and the side just complimented the dish so elegantly. Must try!
Friendly bar staff and great food. A great place to go and relax for a nice long meal.
